Introduction

Occupational Safety and Health American Council (OSHAC) develop this qualification is designed for learners with a responsibility to conduct risk assessments at low risk premises. It covers the principles of risk assessment, the relationship between hazard and risk and requires learners use the knowledge learned on the course by undertaking a risk assessment.

Intended Audience

OSHAC is ideal for those who have a responsibility for conducting risk assessments in low risk environments, such as supervisors and site managers. This qualification is also suitable for those who significantly contribute to the risk assessment process, e.g. team leaders and technicians.

Assessment Method

This qualification is assessed by a multiple-choice examination and the completion of an internally set and assessed activity.
