Occupational Safety and Health American Council (OSHAC) develop this Risk Assessment course to introduce the principles of risk assessment. It covers why risk assessments are necessary, the legal requirements relating to them and simple processes for carrying them out.
There are no prerequisites for this qualification. It is advised that learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy or numeracy or equivalent. This qualification is approved for delivery to the age ranges Pre-16, 16-18 and 19+
There are several safety positions with different levels of responsibility in an Occupational Safety and Health career path. Each advancing level typically requires higher levels of experience, education, and knowledge and skills in leadership, business practices, safety and health, and communication and information technology. To qualify for this program certificate, students must complete all required courses listed below. There is no time limit to complete the required courses.
This qualification is assessed by a 20 multiple-choice examination. The duration of examination is 30 minutes.

After submitting their quiz answers, the student is presented with the correct quiz answers. Quiz results are not recorded and can be taken multiple times.
After studying the course material and taking the module quizzes, students can take the course exam. The course exam is designed to test the students understanding of the course material. Course exams are composed of multiple choice questions selected from our extensive question bank.
